Eric and I had the opportunity to spend a day and a half in Boston - this time to meet The Sturdy's on their "first anniversary vacation."
We stayed in a great hotel, with a view of the the Bunker Hill Bridge, the Charles River and the Boston skyline. The best part, being that Andrew and Alicia's hotel was only a 15 minute walk from ours! We spent our first night together walking around the West End, following some of the Freedom Trail and eating at the oldest pub in Boston, The Bell In Hand. We devoted the next day to the Museum of Science (with a stop at the Harry Potter exhibit!), the Sam Adam's Brewery, and Harvard Square in Cambridge. I recommend all three to anyone visiting the Boston area! It was refreshing to spend time with close friends - especially A2.
November is packed with events that lead into the biggest event of the year that will take us to Chicago. Our family appreciates all of the prayers and support we've been given regarding Eric and Peder's surgery. It's scary and surreal but such a blessing, too. We are looking forward to spending time in Chicago with family and friends, but wish it could be under different circumstances. We are holding fast to God's hand and finding peace in him.
