this picture doesn't do last night justice: the sunset was amazing. i literally stood in the parking lot and stared for a couple minutes, then fumbled to get my phone to take a picture before the sun completely set. i love these kind of moments, when God is so evident through his creation. i say it often, but i really like when he leaves me speechless in this way.
if only i was able to capture his beauty more purely than my iPhone!
last night was also the start of carol's and my Christmas extravaganza week. we watched White Christmas - one of my favorite holiday movies - and made mint m&m cookies. it was wonderful.
yesterday was a good day, thanks God.
