that sarah mclachlan song is in my head right now. it seemed appropriate for my returning post. i haven't forgotten blog-world, i haven't. i often check other blogs, but don't take the time to update mine. but alas, i have come back, with pictures too!
christmas and new years came and went (i can't believe my last post was before christmas...): eric and i had a great time in california with my family. it was nice to be somewhere warm! due to winter weather in boston, our flight out of DC was cancelled. we spent new year's eve in a hotel, but lucky for us there was a CVS close by! we bought some champaign to celebrate the arrival of 2009.
we went straight to new york, for pilgrim pine's senior high retreat. we spent the weekend in an amazing house on lake champion at a young life camp worshipping with the chic band and A LOT of high schoolers. it was great. now we're back, and january is almost over!
since then, our biggest news is: snow. we've had a lot of snow. a lot of it. good thing we're in new hampshire though. it just looks amazing here. snow fits us well...even though it's hard to drive and really cold. still, it's a beautiful sight.
