the 4th on lake swanzey

today, i loved being a part of pilgrim pines and living on lake swanzey (not that i haven't before now), but, until today, i hadn't experienced the 4th of july as a director's wife/resident. nothing compares to sitting on the squanto dock, watching fireworks reflect off of the lake, with junior highers chanting "live free or die! live free or die!" - it was absolutely wonderful.






















































i miss being here during the day, but having a job definitely makes the days i do spend on campus so much more wonderful!

happy 4th of july - it's my favorite holiday!
