hannah and carol have been filling me in on some things i will find at camp...
1. the fisher cat scream. sounds like a dying child - awesome. it's my goal to record the sound this summer. there is not one good example on the internet. that needs to change, and i will do it!
2. wolf spiders. i might pass out the first time i see one in real life.
3. eels under the blob. good thing i have no reason to EVER dive under the blob. ew.
4. nibbling fish. i think i'll be able to handle this one. let's hope...
needless to say, i'm excited to be living at camp in 3 weeks (with a husband). before i know it, i'll be swimming with eels and have a wolf spider as a pet!
yeah, right. ;)

i pray to God neither of us ever encounter an eel. also i hope that we don't get bitten by the mystery fish and have pus-filled wounds
